Using the DICOM Loader
For users who work with DICOM image files, Dragonfly provides a DICOM Image Loader to import DICOM studies and series from local and network drives, as well as from portable storage devices. Additional options allow you to view DICOM attributes in the DICOM Attributes dialog and to explore the contents of a folder.
Tasks for Importing DICOM Data
Following are the primary tasks that you can perform with DICOM data:
Open Folders and Files… You can open folders containing DICOM studies and series or DICOM files located on local or network drives from the Folder Contents tab (see Opening Folders and Files).
View Studies and Series… DICOM studies and series can be examined and compared in the workspace (see Viewing Studies and Series).
View DICOM Attributes… You can view all attributes related to a series in a study in the DICOM Attributes dialog (see Viewing DICOM Attributes).
